KRITHI + ROHIT
NOVOTEL, HYDERABAD
Sometimes, life throws you curveballs that no-one can really expect. Sometimes, we face challenges and difficulties that no-one can rightfully prepare for. I suppose, that's the best way to describe the pandemic which was a once in a lifetime tragic event, and yet, the show had to go on; life had to be lived; and love had to be cherished.
And so it came to pass for Rohit and Krithi, hearts that bonded in the most uncertain of times and refused to let these challenges overwhelm their love for one and other. When the 3rd wave of covid hit, lots of things were left to great uncertainty. Yet, Rohit and Krithi found a way to celebrate their love and their union in a private but wondrous setting. By the pool-side garden of Novotel, Hyderabad, surrounded by only the closest of the close, Rohit and Kriti wed, engulfed by the happiness of everyone who cherished them dearly.
Even for us, it was quite a unique wedding. Despite it being a traditional Telugu wedding, Rohit and Krithi opted against the Thali and Kanyadanam ceremonies, and instead we got to witness just the Jeelakarra Bellam, Talambralu, and the Arundati ceremonies. Their laser focus on what was the most important to them helped give the whole event a strong sense of purpose, as we got to capture some of our favorite shots with the young couple just swimming in each other's love.
The bride, as is so often the case, was a spectacle all on her own in a bright red Saree for the Jeelakarra Bellam, while the groom was draped in outfits that were designed by himself. A marvel to say the very least, both looked incredibly stunning on this most joyous occasion.
By the time we approached the end of the event, all that was left alongside our photographs were our memories, and as we look back, we can say truthfully, that these are the kind of weddings we dream about. Small, private, intimate, full of love, full of warmth, where the entire world is condensed into the hearts and souls of just the lucky few who got to be there. We can only say thank you to Krithi and Rohit, it was an honor and a pleasure to be your photographers. Here's to you and your never ending happiness.
